The rituals we keep
deserve beautiful objects.

I started using cannabis in 2020 and quickly realized the ritual needed a companion: something to ease dry mouth, clear the aftertaste, and leave me feeling fresh. I built what I couldn't find.

Discipline and the natural world have always shaped me. I played volleyball on an athletic scholarship, then spent years as a threatened & endangered species biologist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture — work that taught me patience, precision, and a deep respect for what plants and people need to thrive. These days you'll find me chasing the next runDisney finish line with the same focus I bring to the tin.

I cold emailed five gum manufacturers with an idea no one had tried: amla, tulsi and clove in a chewing gum. Even Per Os Biosciences in Maryland — the laboratory that would become my manufacturer — was skeptical. "It isn't going to work." It did. Made in the USA.

There is a quiet cleverness to the blend. Amla is bitter on its own, yet turns sweet in the company of the other botanicals — the alchemy you taste in every chew. Tulsi brings calm depth. Clove brings the character. Xylitol keeps it clean.

"The tin in your pocket that says you take this seriously — and that you will walk back into any room feeling fresh, not exposed."

Buddha Gums turns the cannabis ritual into a return to self — before, during and after — so every experience ends the way it began: clear, intentional, unmistakably you.
